Jakarta, November 2012, A truly exceptional dining sensation is due to take place at Jakarta’s renowned French restaurant, Lyon at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta. Lyon will play hosts to another great Michelin-starred Chef Richard Toix.
A master in the art of food fusion, Chef Richard has been awarded by multiple institutions including a Large Table Award by Chateaux and Hotels Collection by Alain Ducasse, Michelin Bib Gourmand and many more. His most recent achievement was his partnership with Chinese painter Zhou Tiehai, where he combined painting with French traditional pastries for a grand exhibition in 2010.
With over 20 years’ of culinary experience, coupled with his great enthusiasm for French cuisine, Chef Richard opened a fine dining restaurant “Passions & Gourmandises” in the charming village of St. Benedict.
